The agency has adapted to many programmatic changes, from the Comprehensive Employment and Training Agency Program (CETA) to the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) to the current Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and Welfare to Work.  WGCJTA, Inc. has also been operating public assistance funded programs since 1986.  These programs serve disadvantaged individuals ranging in ages from 14 to older workers. 

David P. Suski, President/CEO

David P. Suski is the President and Chief Financial Officer for the Washington Greene County Job Training Agency, Inc. and the Director of the Southwest Corner Workforce Investment Board.

A graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics, David was honored for his professional achievements by California University in 1988 as Alumnus of the Year.

He began working for the agency in 1980 in the monitoring and planning departments before being appointed Director of the agency in 1984. In 1995, the agency acquired non-profit status and David was named to his current positions as President and Chief Financial Officer.

He remains extremely active in numerous groups, committees, and boards throughout the communities of Washington and Greene counties.

 


Linda L. Bell, Vice President

Linda L. Bell is the Vice President of the Washington Greene County Job Training Agency, Inc. She is graduate of Frostburg State University and received her Master of Arts degree from West Virginia Univeristy.

After working for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and the Greene County Industrial Development, Inc., she came to WGCJTA, Inc. in 1981 as a planner. Linda Became Deputy Director in 1986 and Vice President in 1995.

Community service work has always been important to Linda. She has served on the board of directors of the YWCA, the Bradford House, Daughter's of the Current Events, Community Action Southwest and the meadowbrook Home Association. Currently, she is a board member with the Southwest Corner Workforce Investment Board, Try Again Homes and the Humane Society of Greene County.
