WGCJTA, Inc. has partnered with the Workforce Board of the Treasure Coast, Florida, to market a National Job Readiness Program known as Work Certified. This program has brought much success to the Southwest Corner of Pennsylvania, by both jobseekers and employers. The goal of WGCJTA, Inc. is to market this program throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland.
WGCJTA, Inc. is seeking interns to:
- Assist the Corporate Manager in developing and implementing a marketing plan for Work Certified.
- Act as a help desk and provide assistance to staff as needed.
- Contact employers as a follow-up to track the performance of the jobseeker.
- Assist in developing a database to track the status of the Work Certified contracts and ongoing status of customers.
- Any other related duties that would assist with the success of the Work Certified Program or WGCJTA, Inc.
The intern will work a maximum of ten hours per week and earn $8.00 per hour at our main office in Washington, PA.. The internship will run the length of the spring semester of 2008. Our normal business hours are Monday Through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
